The Saudi Ministry of Interior has reportedly imposed harsh penalties for breaking the security camera regulations, according to Arab media.



The government has made it clear that anyone who breaks the law and releases the CCTV footage would be fined twenty thousand riyals.



The action, according to Arab media, is a component of a larger endeavor to guarantee the enforcement of privacy and security norms.


The Saudi Ministry of Interior further emphasized that there are harsh consequences for any tampering, including breaking security camera systems or their records.


In addition, the ministry has emphasized several rules about the installation of security cameras.


The installation of cameras in locations where it is not authorized will result in a 10,000 riyal punishment, according to the Saudi Ministry of Interior.
