Internet technology giant Google has started testing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in Maps.
Google said in its blog post that initially the AI tools are being tested only in the US and the tools are limited to tour guides.
Under the mentioned AI features, significant changes have been made in Google Maps and now as soon as a user tries to know information related to a particular location or topic in any city in Maps, the map will provide him with the required information.
That is, if any unknown person after coming to Karachi will look for information on the city's historical buildings on the map, then through AI tools, the map will show the user the location, information, and photos of all the city's historical buildings.
Similarly, if a person searches for information about parks, shopping plazas, or other similar places, Google Maps will provide him with all the relevant information, including photos and people's comments.
Not only this, but under the above-mentioned feature, even if the user wants to ask for more information about any building, place, or location, more information will be provided to him in the form of questions and answers.
Under the mentioned feature, the user will be able to get information about the buildings, places, and locations of any city within a few minutes.
After the successful trial of the said feature in the US, it will be offered in other countries of the world, and possibly by the end of this year, it will also be offered to general users worldwide.
