A man managed to find gold worth millions of rupees with a faulty metal detector.

Treasure hunting may be everyone's dream, but who would have thought that it could be possible with a metal detector.

But it happened in Britain, where a man found a large piece of gold through a malfunctioning metal detector. 67-year-old Richard Brooke discovered this piece of gold in the Shropshire area, which is said to be worth 30,000 British pounds (more than one million Pakistani rupees).

Richard Brooke, from Somerset, traveled three and a half hours to reach the hills of Shropshire. In fact, he was not alone in this place, but many people came there to search for the treasure with the help of metal detectors. Richard Brock was delayed in getting there and had to use an old metal detector that didn't work properly.

"I arrived an hour late, and I thought there was nothing I could do; everyone had the best metal detector, and I had to choose a bad machine," he said. But 20 minutes later, Richard Brock found a piece of gold weighing 64.8 grams. The piece was buried 5 to 6 inches deep in the ground and was named Hiro's Nugget.

The incident occurred a few months ago, and now the gold is being auctioned and is expected to fetch £30,000. According to Richard Brooke, 'I couldn't believe the discovery; I was late, but within minutes I found the gold, although the expedition to find the mine was to last a whole day'.
