The Mastani buffalo of Mandi Bahauddin Blue Ravi breed set a world record by giving 37 kg of milk in 24 hours.
Earlier this record was held by Indian buffalo which gave 32 kg of milk in 24 hours.
A ceremony was held in honor of the world record-setting buffalo at a private hotel in Gujranwala.
The event was organized by Pakistan Buffalo Breeder Association, Iftikhar Ahmed Bagri, the owner of the buffalo, was given a prize of one lakh rupees and a trophy.
