Russia has warned against an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has warned against any attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned against any "fictitious" Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, saying it would be "catastrophic."We have repeatedly warned and continue to warn against any hypothetical consideration of the possibility of an attack on [Iran's] nuclear facilities," Ryabkov said, according to Russia's official TASS news agency. Israel] can be warned.

He added that this would be a catastrophic development and would constitute a complete denial of existing positions in the field of guaranteeing nuclear safety. Israeli officials are discussing a possible response to an Iranian missile attack on Israel earlier this month.

US news agencies said, citing Israeli sources, that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu had approved specific Iranian targets for Israeli actions in response to Iranian missile attacks on Israel. Details of the specific targets have not been disclosed and it has not been clear whether Israel is targeting military targets, with no date set for the start of the planned Israeli operation.

On the other hand, the Iranian nuclear agency says that there is no possibility of an Israeli attack on the nuclear facilities. In a video interview with the Noor news agency, the agency's spokesman Behrouz Kamal Vandi said that the probability of an Israeli attack on the nuclear facilities was very low. He said that in the event of an attack on a critical country, he will ensure that it does not succeed and that the country can immediately compensate for any potential losses.

Kamal Vandi's comments come after Israeli officials vowed to attack Iran after Tehran launched a ballistic missile attack on Israel in early October. Iran says the attack is retaliation for Israel's assassination of key figures close to Iran, including Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
